Violeta is a Lithuanian artist who is making toys and jewelry for 18 years. She has also written a book about textiles to jewelry. Violeta has been making dolls for many years and often has leftover yarn. The artist collected all the scraps and came up with the idea of making Yarn toys out of scrap yarn.
How it happened – cats, owls, tigers, cows, llamas, and dogs, and there are still ideas for new animals. Her head is full of creative ideas, but you don’t have enough time all day. Violeta always loves color and never wears black and it has been reflected in her artwork.
She has said in an interview with Board panda that she loves making dolls because they use leftover yarn and they are so colorful. By the way, she also knitted big ones such as 50 cm high. So, they can be not only toys but also funny interior details.
Violeta has come up with the idea of using the remaining threads to make colorful objects that would attract a lot of attention. The accumulation of leftover fibers inspired me to create the popular toy often referred to as a kitty. The most requested toy is a kitten. Artists also used to make other animals.
