Have a look at these Winning Photographs from the 2022 UK Landscape Photographer Of The Year Contest

The 2022 Landscape Photographer of the Year competition highlights the vast splendor of Britain’s environments, from hazy lochs and grand mountainous vistas to water-side pedestrian paths.

Winners of this year’s competition include both natural and man-made elements, such as a steam-engulfed train roaring across the Fellowman Crosses Ribblehead viaduct or a glimmering celestial sky above the Durdle Door limestone arch.
The competition joins Network Rail for a traveling exhibition that traveled across the United Kingdom. It began on October 31 at Paddington Station. View the winning images on the competition’s website or by purchasing a copy of this year’s book.
The goal of “Landscape Photographer of the Year” is to encourage people to engage with the British landscape through photography. The competition features the work of a variety of talented photographers, allowing viewers to appreciate and share the beauty of the British landscape.
The fifteenth Landscape Photographer of the Year has been announced. Landscape Photographer of the Year has now had 15 editions. Founded in 2006 by the hugely respected landscape photographer Charlie Waite, the judges have the enviable task of sifting through thousands of images each year to determine the best of the best. The judges chose Will Davies’ magnificent work ‘Brecon in Winter’ as the overall winner of the prestigious title.
The competition is open to images of the United Kingdom, the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands. But photographers of any nationality are welcome to enter. Along with the main adult competition, a youth award is held, with both sharing the same main categories. Many of these are shown on these two spreads. Special awards include Coast, Historic Britain, Lines in the Landscape, and Landscapes at Night. This year’s judges include some of the most well-known names in photography and publishing. Many of them you may have seen in magazines or online.
